Campus Channel is an online platform for managing, viewing and showcasing media within your school. It can be used to run your own version of Youtube, download media from anywhere and to broadcast multiple TV channels to screens around your campus. Students and Teachers will find the interface easy to use and share in the buzz of publishing work for a real audience of their peers.

What is Campus Channel?

Campus Channel creates a school TV channel that is simple to manage and the entire school can contribute to. It is a way to showcase all the work and achievements that are going on in your school. The channel plays on screens around the school and is also streamed to the web for parents or outside viewers. Schools can share content with each other and participate on joint projects.

What can Campus Channel do for my school?

Students are producing more digital work than ever. Campus Channel gives them a real local audience for their work whether it's a photo, animation, video or blog post. The channel is a powerful way for staff to communicate with students and a great way to let parents know the latest news and achievements.

By seeing their work broadcast students are motivated to get involved. They can access the interface at any time and contribute and comment as much as they want. Any subject can be incorporated into the channel as a module. It builds on any media your school already has to provide an instant digital showcase of what's happening at your school.

Participation

Like a school newspaper Campus Channel works well with an assigned student group. All students can submit content but the student producers help to filter the media before final teacher approval. Up and coming editors, cameramen and presenters work to cover everything from sports games through to debating championships. Students get real experience and a real audience for their work.
